Automatic lids palletizer
The customer's request was to remove the thread cover caps in the painted drums and to palletize the drum lids themselves. The solution was a two-position machine, one for searching and removing the caps and a second for gripping with a 6-axis robot that takes care of the removal and palletizing of the caps. The PLC manages multiple recipes, indicating the quantity of caps to be removed and all the information and actions in exchange with the customer's MES.
