High flow centralized mixer
The application that we propose as an example is a centralized volumetric mixer for cutting oil at high continuous flow rates (3600L/h). The system produces emulsion. Based on three POLIMAT-CEEL double pump mixers, we added a 5M3 silo-tank with proportionate anti-flooding tank for the pure lubricant. The pressure for the distribution of the emulsified product is given by the water network to which the mixers are connected, making the presence of solution booster pumps unnecessary. A small PLC manages the tank levels and the alarms, coordinating the work of the three mixers and providing a simple HMI interface.
